Don Valley Art Club Spring Show & Sale

I’ve got a couple of my Kuwaiti Dancers entered into the Spring show for the DVAC. They are easy to spot – nobody submitted anything at all like my drawings 🙂

I worked intake last night and saw really good work come through the door. Like all other local art clubs, there are a lot of recreational artists. And like all recreational artists, you will find work that is both strong and captivating. In addition there are a fair number of members who are really good at what they do. The Spring show is a bargain even if you just to check out some of the work by artists like Amy Chen (her ballerina “Before Rehearsal is used on the flyer).

It would be lovely to have you come out and share in some of the local culture that we have on display. The grounds have a nice, easy nature walk that surprises with the quickness in which you can lose track of the fact that the area lies in the heart of a very large city.
