This is a portrait of my family home as seen from the rear. The house was built in 1879 by a steel magnate in Brantford Ontario. It has the most beautiful wood work, pocket doors, thematic stained glass and antique fixtures. My childhood bedroom was the balcony on the top floor that is seen in the drawing. I made this house portrait as a gift for my parents on the occasion of their 55th wedding anniversary, and had prints made for all of my brothers and sisters, my children, and my nieces and nephews.
