Waiting Sketches – taking advantage of time taken

I have been waiting around for one thing or another pretty well my whole life. Which is part of the human condition – we wait and wait for the event, the moment, the open door, the busy professional, the activity-laden child . . .

I often have a sketchbook with me these days. Sometimes I get it out and draw something, the drawings often only being a few inches in size. I thought it might be interesting to blog the results from time to time. My first blogs of Waiting Sketches will probably cover existing items scanned or photographed from my books. We’ll see how it goes.

The first few sketches I’ll post were done in waiting rooms in a gymnastics program called CFCC and the Kumon scholarship assistance program in Toronto.
